Hell's Kitchen is Sinfully Good
/Not to be dramatic, but this place is almost a 10/10 and let me tell you why. Washington DC is known for it’s unique and diverse restaurant options but what we are not known for is our service. People constantly complain about restaurants putting aesthetics over service and the quality of the food. Hell’s Kitchen prioritizes food and customer experience and just so happens to be located in a gorgeous waterfront property with panoramic views of the city.

At least 4 staff members recommended the braised short rib to us. It is marinated for 5 hours, topped with crispy onions and microgreens and places on a potato cake bed. This was my first time having beef wellington and it was so delightful. The flakey crust and perfectly cooked steak inside that went perfectly with the red wine demi-glace. Obviously, we had to get the famous lobster risotto and the flavors were beautifully complex. For dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was the standout. The recipe is a Ramsey family secret but I absolutely need to figure out the recipe so I can make this at home.
Pro Tip: Making reservations can be a bit difficult depending on the day but they do take walk-ins especially for lunch!
