A New York Minute: 4 Days in NYC

I spent a few days in New York after a work trip to LA and it was simply amazing. My friend Abby and I worked from the hotel during the day but as soon as it was 5 pm, we hit the town and made our time count. Special shoutout to Abby for inviting me on this adventure and creating the perfect itinerary.

Here are some highlights from my 1 millionth time in one of my favorite cities.

Burgerology

Abby and I found this place randomly and we are so glad that we did. It is the perfect place to WFH during the day but they also have amazing drinks and burgers for happy hour.

Thoughts of a Colored Man

Oh the theatre! This was my first show since COVID and it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend seeing it before it closes because it is a poignant and often painful representation of being a Black man in America.

Ceconni’s Dumbo

Definitely worth the hype! The wine list and Rigatoni Bolognese are simply amazing.

Basement Chinatown

Adorable and fun speakeasy in…Chinatown, obviously!

Angelina’s Bakery

This Italian bakery has some of the best savory and sweet pastries that I’ve had in a while. Make sure you grab a Bombolone while you’re there!

Oscar Wilde

Unique, Instagrammable cocktail bar with delicious drinks and yummy bites.

Los Tacos No. 1 NYC

How can you go to NY without grabbing tacos from Los Tacos?

Corner Social

Good food, great specials, and even amazing vibes. This is always a must-visit for me.
